Terms of Service
Last updated: April 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of InjuryBurnLawyer.com (the “directory”). By using the directory, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the directory.
Nature of the service
The directory is an advertising directory of attorneys who practice burn injury law in the United States. It exists to make public information about these attorneys easier to find.
The directory is specifically not:
- A lawyer referral service.
- A recommendation of any specific attorney or firm.
- A router of consumer inquiries — we do not intake consumer matters, match consumers to attorneys, or forward leads.
- A creator of any attorney-client relationship. No such relationship is formed by visiting, browsing, or contacting anyone through this site.
No warranties
The directory is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, about the directory or any attorney listed on it. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose of any information presented. Ratings, review counts, years of practice, and biographical information are compiled from public sources that can change without notice.
Nothing in the directory is legal advice. Past results of any attorney do not guarantee future outcomes.
Listings and attorney consent
Attorneys listed in the directory did not necessarily consent to inclusion. Listings are compiled from publicly available sources. Any attorney listed may:
- Claim the listing at no cost to correct facts and add contact information.
- Request removal of the listing at any time, for any reason. Removal requests are processed within five (5) business days.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InjuryBurnLawyer.com, its operators, owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the directory or your engagement of any attorney you found through it.
You retain any attorney entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for independently verifying any attorney’s current license status, bar standing, disciplinary history, and qualifications before engaging them. Your local state bar maintains the authoritative record.
Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, spider, or bulk-download the directory by automated means without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying data pipelines behind the directory.
- Impersonate any attorney or claim a listing you are not authorized to claim.
- Submit false information through any form on the site, including the claim and removal forms.
- Use the directory to send unsolicited commercial communications to any listed attorney.
- Use the directory in any way that violates applicable law or the advertising rules of any state bar.
Intellectual property
The directory’s design, layout, written explanatory copy, and compilation of listings are our intellectual property. Individual factual data points (an attorney’s name, firm, office address, bar number, public rating, etc.) are facts and are not themselves copyrightable. You may link to individual listing pages; you may not republish the directory or material portions of it.
Copyright / DMCA
If you believe content on the directory infringes your copyright, email hello@injuryburnlawyer.com with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We will respond promptly to valid notices.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InjuryBurnLawyer.com and its operators from and against any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of your violation of these terms or your misuse of the directory.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the directory is the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the directory after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
