Why no per-lead pricing?

Charging attorneys per consumer lead would classify us as a lawyer referral service in most US states (e.g., California Business and Professions Code §6155, Florida Rule 4-7.22), triggering state bar registration requirements. We avoid that classification by structure: visitors contact attorneys directly, and we charge only flat subscriptions for placement. See our methodology.

Featured placement methodology

Paid Featured listings are labelled and appear first. Listings their firms have claimed come next, then unclaimed listings; within each group, listings are ordered by profile completeness, with ties in a fixed shuffled order. Claiming a listing is free. The attorney grids on the homepage and on hub pages follow the same order. Profile completeness means a photo and a substantive bio. Third-party review data plays no part, and we do not collect it. We never change the disclosed methodology in exchange for payment.
